There's no wrong in deciding to cast away your real feelings and just put up a strong facade in front of others. It does not means you are fake, it just means that you are strong enough to fight it and move on from it, learning and deciding the best way to go from there. You make your own chances, your own decision, your own life, nobody's stopping you from changing it and be the change you want from it. However, there are many types of being 'fake' when it comes to the word. Fake is just like plastic, you're trying to be another thing but hiding away from the true self that you would like to be, afraid people would judge you for it or perhaps have the impression you want not towards you. Just be who you are. That's important in life. It gives you a sense of belonging and originality, it lets you show your true self to the world, and see whether the world accepts it or not. Being fake is just a lie, to yourself and the people around you. I'm clearly against people who are very fake. I am not prejudice but I don't respect it. I believe in being yourself, and those who accept you are the ones who stay are the ones who would stick through thick and thin with you. If they want to leave, I'll let them, there's no point letting them stay anyway. You can pull it off with being fake at first, but sooner or later, I bet you are unable to hide your ugly true self, and people would know the lies you've made and you would lose the dearest to your heart. If only people could open their eyes and see you for who you are. You're just trying too hard to fit in, when you're born to stand out, it just sickens me so much. :/ |
